Many executives we speak to tell us their innovation efforts have not delivered the expected results. When we dig deeper we often find an innovation program whose central premise is focused on generating ideas. While idea generation is an important first step in innovation, expecting breakthrough innovation from idea generation alone inevitably leads to disappointment and a virtual warehouse full of ideas that are rarely acted upon.

MineLight Solutions believes that true innovation is enabled during the early stages of product development – that critical period of time in which concepts are developed and aligned against an organization’s strategy and a rapidly evolving marketplace.
